Rabbi Meir Shapiro of Lublin (1887–1933) was a renowned Polish rabbi, founder of the worldwide Daf Yomi program, and the head of the famous Chachmei Lublin Yeshiva. He is remembered for uniting Jews around the world through daily Torah study.
